The ubiquitous and all-knowing They say that I must have a photo of myself on my website, so you’ll feel a personal connection with me. I’m a very private person and wouldn’t put my face online anywhere if They didn’t insist…

So, in the spirit of connecting, here’s a head-shot of me. It took many draft photos and a lot of dirty jokes from my co-workers before we got this one, so enjoy:

Yes, there’s a mole on my left nostril. No, it doesn’t bother me. In fact, I keep it as a conversation starter. It’s a family heirloom from my Nordic ancestors. Some people collect stamps; I collect moles. I color it black at Halloween and ride around on a broom.
